The short answer
Under the Trade Marks Ordinance 5732-1972 (amended up to 2017), a trademark registration is valid for 10 years from the date of filing and is renewed for 10 years from the expiration date. If the renewal fee is not paid within 6 months after the expiration date (the initial period) the mark is removed, though the fee is higher in that period and restoration is possible. Objections are filed within 3 months of the advertisement, and a mark not used for 3 years can be cancelled.
